Good times. I always listened to NextWeek' s top 40 on Sunday evening.
Thank god i was young then modern life is fuckin awful on every level especially musically
I'd rather listen to a great station with a poor signal than a crap one with a clear signal.
Aż spróbuję dziś wieczorem na moim globalu z ciekawości nastawić tę częstotliwość???....😉
Good memories 👍
i remember this time when i listened it in my radio , at this time, no internet , no social media, just video and music , good year for american movies too !!!
Radio Luxembourg was the UK's and Europe's and Planet Earth's best loved international radio station on 1440 kHz / 208 metres Medium Wave at 1,200,000 watts across Europe and the United Kingdom, and from midnight UK time / 1am CET worldwide shortwave 49.26 metres at an omnidirectional 500 kW from Junglinster and in Central Europe 88.9 92.5 and 97.0 Mhz FM.
Listened to in the 80s in Leningrad.

I used to listen to Luxy under the covers.... This audio has just reminded me of just how bad the interference could be at times. It would fade in and out in scunthorpe.
+DJ Garybaldy It happened everywhere I think. I used to live near Motherwell, SE of Glasgow in the 1980s and it did the same and once stayed near Durham in 1988 and also did the same. Long live 208.
Super I remember in the days of communism in Poland as well as listening to the radio. Regards ...
I love this times...!
...great....
